Procella Design LLC is a woman owned landscape architecture firm specializing in stormwater management. Founded and based in New Orleans, Procella works to improve the built environment using a multidisciplinary design approach and constructible details that are tailored to address unique physical conditions in our region. Procella believes the New Orleans area can serve as a model for the world on how to better live with natural and manmade water systems and seeks to be a part of the movement to build and export our regional knowledge. Procella staff is skilled in gray and green infrastructure design, stormwater modeling, resilient planting design, and community engagement.
Brooke Morris, PLA, EI specializes in green infrastructure design by integrating engineering and landscape architectural techniques. She uses the EPA – Storm Water Management Model, spreadsheets, and site-specific sketches to quickly optimize stormwater performance and construction limitations. Ms. Morris also brings six years of collaborative, community-based design experience from her work with the LSU Community Playground Project where she empowered and provided technical assistance to stakeholders in the design, fundraising, and construction processes of over a dozen playgrounds. Brooke believes that by working in sync with each other and biological mechanisms, we can produce highly efficient and effective sustainable solutions that awe and engage users.
